Modern aerosol spray products have three significant partsthe can, the actuator, and the valve. The valve is crimped to the rim of the can, and the design of this component determines the spray rate. The actuator is pressed down by the user to open the valve. The shape and size of the nozzle in the actuator is used to control the spread of the aerosol spray. In a continuous aerosol, the valve is equipped with a fast filling housing in which gas orifice (VPH) and product orifice (RTP) can be of various dimensions. The dip tube is mounted outside the housing tang, and the valve should be used in upright position.
